Transat A.T. Inc. announces the appointment of Cédric Gobilliard as General Manager of Look Voyages

Transat A.T. Inc., one of largest integrated tourism companies in the world and Canada’s holiday travel leader, is pleased to announce the appointment of Cédric Gobilliard as General Manager of its French subsidiary Look Voyages. “Cédric has an impressive background, particularly in light of his tour operating experience, managing the Club Med hotel program in the Caribbean and his obsession with customer satisfaction. All these attributes make him the ideal person to continue developing Look Voyages, together with the existing team, whose hard work and enthusiasm produced excellent results last year,” said Lina De Cesare, President, Tour Operators, Transat A.T. Inc. Mr. Gobilliard will take up his new duties by June 20.

Mr. Gobilliard, 37, is currently General Manager, North America, and a member of the Management Committee of Club Med, which he joined in 1999. His previous positions with Club Med included, successively, Director, Licences, Director, Sales, Marketing and Transportation, and Director, Sales and Marketing, Europe (except France). Presently based in Miami, Mr. Gobilliard is responsible for repositioning the Club Med brand in North America and reorganizing the commercial strategy to better meet customer needs, thus contributing to the company’s profitable growth. He has some 15 years of industry experience, including a period with Disneyland Paris as Group Leader, Media Marketing and Synergy. Mr. Gobilliard has a strong university education.
 
Look Voyages, one of France’s largest tour operators and a subsidiary of Transat A.T. Inc., develops and markets holiday products in several regions of the world, specializing in the Mediterranean Basin and Caribbean destinations. Experiencing strong growth, Look Voyages offers its customers all-inclusive holiday packages at its Lookéa vacation clubs, among others. In 2007, it recorded revenues of nearly 190 million euros, up 28%, and had more than 210,000 customers.
