Air Transat, Canada’s leading holiday travel airline and a business unit of Transat A.T. Inc., has affixed the logo of the Children’s Wish Foundation / Fondation Rêves d’Enfants to one of its Airbus A330 aircraft. The plane will be flying the route between Edmonton and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, today, and will be used mainly for flights departing from Western Canada this winter.
Air Transat and its employees are proud to partner with the Children’s Wish Foundation and to contribute, with the help of the airline’s customers, to making dreams come true for youngsters waging courageous battles against illness. Since 2004, the airline has donated nearly $3 million to the Foundation, thanks in part to its Change for Kids program, whereby passengers on Air Transat flights are invited to make cash donations in foreign or Canadian currency.
