Transat A.T. Inc. cancels its flights to Mexico from Canada from June 1 to 19
Following which, unless there is a worsening of the situation caused by influenza A (H1N1), operations to Mexico will return to normal for the rest of the summer season
Montreal, May 8, 2009

Transat A.T. Inc., Canada's holiday travel leader, is cancelling its flights to Mexico from Canada from June 1 to 19, whether they are operated by Air Transat or other carriers, because of the situation caused by influenza A(H1N1). After this date, unless there is a worsening of the situation, operations to Mexico will return to normal, with possible adjustments depending on demand, and travellers will be able to take full advantage, at good rates, of Mexican beaches for the summer season.

All customers of Transat Holidays, Nolitours or Air Transat who were scheduled to fly to Mexico from Canada between June 1 and 19 can change their travel plans, with no additional service charges, in accordance with the following guidelines:

1. Travel on a later date or to another destination: Passengers who wish to travel on a later date or to another destination can do so. The trip must be completed on or before December 18, 2009. If the price of the new package is higher than that of the trip originally planned, the passenger must cover the difference in price.

2. Cancel trip and obtain a refund: Because flights from June 1 to 19 are cancelled, Transat is taking measures to ensure that uninsured customers can obtain a full refund.
