Scotland’s only programme of non-stop flights to Canada takes off for the summer this weekend with Canadian Affair.
The award-winning operator is operating eight flights a week to Canada’s East and West coasts with non-stop services from Glasgow to Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver.
It is offering up to six flights a week non-stop to Toronto, replacing its weekly service during the winter season. Return fares start from £278 with departures on Monday, Thursday (two flights), Friday, Saturday and Sunday allowing for flexible holiday durations.
Flights to Canada’s West Coast depart every Wednesday with non-stop flights to both Calgary and Vancouver, with return fares from £298.
Kathryn Munro, Communication and Marketing Director of Canadian Affair, says: “Our combination of low fares and non-stop flights to Canada are proving incredibly popular with Scottish travellers, and bookings for this summer’s flights are strong.”
Canadian Affair’s flights from Glasgow are operated by Thomas Cook Airlines. Toronto services are on the Boeing 757 aircraft which has a seat pitch of 35 inches - the most generous economy legroom on a trans-Atlantic flight. The wide-wide-body Airbus A330 operates on services to Calgary and Vancouver, and has a seat pitch of 32 inches and individual TV screens at every seat. Complimentary meals and hold baggage are offered on all flights, and passengers can also upgrade to Premium Class on Airbus flights for a host of added extras.
In addition to low-cost flights, Canadian Affair offers child discounts – unlike many other operators – and can tailor-make high quality trips to include a wide-range of hotels, Rocky Mountaineer train tours, self-drive holidays, cruises, motor-homes, Escorted coach tours and much more at the most competitive prices.
