Transat, the leader in vacation travel in Canada, will offer a weekly direct flight from Rouyn-Noranda to Cancun and the Riviera Maya next winter. Transat’s Sun packages, sold under the Nolitours and Transat Holidays brands, will be more easily available from the greater Rouyn-Noranda area and Northeastern Ontario.
Offered on Wednesdays from December 21, 2011 to April 25, 2012, the weekly flight will be operated by CanJet, Transat’s partner airline, aboard a new generation Boeing 737-800.
“With this route, we are writing a new page in Transat’s history by bringing Abitibi-Témiscamingue and Northeastern Ontario closer to Mexico’s stunning beaches. Our clients will be able to choose from an impressive range of resorts sold under the Nolitours and Transat Holidays’ brands,” said the President of Transat Tours Canada, Michael DiLollo, who had travelled to Rouyn-Noranda to make the announcement.
Nolitours and Transat Holidays provide a range of excursions so travellers can take full advantage of their vacations at destination. An experienced team of destination representatives are also on site to provide information on excursions, recommend local attractions and offer assistance when needed.
“We offer an unequalled range of products in Cancun and the Riviera Maya, and we are proud to have made it easier for our clients from Abitibi-Témiscamingue and Northeastern Ontario to travel to these destinations,” added Mr. DiLollo.
