From June 5 to 13, a group of 62 travel consultants with the top sales performances at Transat Distribution Canada (TDC) took part in a reward trip to Greece organized especially for them. The trip was part of the TDC Bravo Excellence program, which rewards the network’s most deserving travel agencies and consultants.
“The outstanding performance of our consultants deserves to be recognized and rewarded,” explained Yves Lalumière, President, TDC.
Masterfully orchestrated by Tourgreece, Transat’s Greece-based business unit, the trip gave participants a chance to explore Athens, with its Parthenon, famous Plaka neighbourhood and many restaurants, as well as the magnificent island of Mykonos, with its iconic blue-shuttered white houses, windmills and a myriad of small churches. Also on the itinerary was a day trip by chartered sailboat to two other Cyclades islands: Delos, with its extensive ruins, and Rhenia, where the participants enjoyed a traditional meal served in the home of a fisherman by a picturesque tiny bay. They then received their trophies at a party on a specially reserved stretch of Ornos Beach, on Mykonos, to the tunes of Mamma Mia! playing in the background and delivering a great atmosphere.
Mr. Lalumière also reiterated the key role of recognition and rewards in the Transat Distribution Canada network and the importance of acknowledging the hard work and excellent results of its members.
