Canadian Affair, the UK’s largest tour operator to Canada, has launched its winter 2011/12 programme with prices held from the 2010/11 season on bookings made until 15 December 2011.

Packages to some of Canada’s best ski resorts start from £569 per person with non-stop flights to Calgary and Vancouver from both London Gatwick and Manchester.

The operator has also added five new hotels to its 2011/12 programme, taking its total hotel and condominium offering to over 50 properties across 11 ski resorts throughout Western Canada.

Canadian Affair has also doubled the amount of free ski carriage for this season. Passengers on its flights will now be able to take one ski/board bag of up to 20kgs in weight, along with their regular hold baggage allowance of 20kgs.

The full programme can be viewed in Canadian Affair’s online ski brochure or via its new, free iPad application click here.  Example ski packages available include:

A seven night skiing holiday in Banff Lake Louise costs from £569 per person, based on seven nights accommodation in Lake Louise at the Lake Louise Inn (on a quad share basis), and return economy class flights from Gatwick or Manchester to Calgary, based on selected travel dates in January 2011.

A 12 night skiing holiday in Whistler costs from £799 per person, based on 12 nights accommodation in the resort at the Delta Whistler Village Suites (on a quad share basis), and return economy class flights from Gatwick to Vancouver, based on selected travel dates in November 2011.

For bookings made until 15 December 2011, there are also a range of early booking offers available.  These include the “Kids Ski Free” complimentary ski passes for children at certain resorts, “free night’s stay” deals on all hotels, and “free days ski” offers at certain resorts.  Terms and conditions apply.

Canadian Affair offers five non-stop flights a week to Western Canada throughout the winter season, with twice-weekly flights from both Gatwick and Manchester to Calgary, and a weekly service from Gatwick to Vancouver.

Flights will be operated by Air Transat, which offer luxury leather seats and a 32” seat pitch in Economy Class.  Passengers can also choose to upgrade to Club Class for even more space, benefits and comfort from just £99 one way.

Add-on flights with Westjet from Calgary to Kelowna are also available, enabling skiers to fly closer to resorts such as Big White and Silver Star.

In addition to flights and hotels, Canadian Affair offers a wide range of winter holiday options including car rental with free upgrades on many car sizes, lift passes, ski equipment hire, and competitively priced travel insurance with winter sports cover.

Canadian Affair has been voted Consumer Favourite Ski Operator at The British Annual Canada Travel Awards for three years in succession, and Best Tour Operator to Canada in the British Travel Awards 2010.
