Jean-Marc Eustache, Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer of Transat A.T. Inc., is pleased to announce the appointment of Madeleine Chenette to the company’s Board of Directors.
“Madeleine Chenette brings to Transat a wide range of experience, a strong business vision and an exemplary sense of commitment,” Mr. Eustache said.
Since 2009, Ms. Chenette has served as Chair of the Board of the SECOR Group, an international strategy and management consulting firm. Prior to joining SECOR, she was a member of the senior management team of a private healthcare company. Her compelling views of business challenges are based on extensive global research and 20 years of experience in diversified sectors such as finance, healthcare, retail commerce, transportation, tourism and natural resources.
Outgoing Chair of the Board of the Canadian Club of Montreal, she was also a board member for the Orchestre Symphonique des jeunes de Montréal, and on a volunteer basis, helped design strategies for not-for-profit organizations. She chaired the fundraising events for the Greater Montreal Foundation as well as for Les filles électriques, an organization dedicated to creating interdisciplinary arts events. In April 2011, the Association of Quebec Women in Finance awarded her its “Inspiration” prize for deserving women in finance.
