Air Transat is completely redesigning its cabins to celebrate its 25th anniversary. To mark the occasion, the air carrier is launching a contest on its Facebook page. Its fans will have the opportunity to see the new cabin and perhaps win a trip to Europe so they can enjoy the experience for themselves.
Air Transat’s Facebook fans will be able to learn all about the new cabin through photos and information grouped together under four themes: Economy Class, Club Class, inflight entertainment and mood lighting ambiance. Fans will earn an extra chance to win a trip to Europe on the newly-redesigned plane every time they click on one of the themes. They can also increase their chances of winning by inviting their friends to enter. There will be one weekly draw over a period of four weeks. The winners will receive a roundtrip flight for two to Paris or London, and there will be a total of four trips to be won.
The first Air Transat aircraft featuring the new innovative concept, sleek interior, individual entertainment systems and ergonomic seats will take flight in April 2012. The new cabin offers passengers a pleasant environment where they can relax and travel in utmost comfort.
“Consistency, dynamism and reliability have always been the cornerstone of our organization, and are exactly what we wish to reflect throughout this progressive transformation, with ingenuity and attention to detail,” commented Allen B. Graham, President, Transat Canada. “We have spent the last 25 years establishing and perfecting exceptional standards of quality and professionalism and we will undoubtedly spend the next 25 exceeding them.”
Cabins will be redesigned gradually over the next two years. The first newly-redesigned aircraft will be flying various routes to Europe over the upcoming season. Travellers can now book their seats on selected routes and enjoy the enhanced comfort of the new cabin.
