Air Transat is pleased to support these increasingly popular international competitions that showcase Quebec as a high calibre and unique destination for sporting events in North America.
A wide-body A330 will transport more than 300 participants and their entourage, as well as their equipment, from Paris to Quebec City on September 4, 2012. The races will be held on September 7 in Quebec City and on September 9 in Montreal. A second chartered flight will fly the cyclists back to Paris on September 10, 2012.
In May, Air Transat unveiled its new cabin boasting an innovative and sleek design with individual entertainment systems, ergonomic seats in Italian leather and mood lighting. With its newly designed cabin, Air Transat redefines industry standards by offering travellers the best flight experience in the country. By the end of June 2012, three Airbus A330s will feature the new cabins. The remaining cabins will be redesigned gradually over the next two years.
