Montreal, May 20, 2016 – Air Transat is proud to announce that it will offer a new weekly flight between Bagotville and Montreal from December 22, 2016, to April 27, 2017.This flight will give travellers from Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean access to a wide array of Sun destinations by connecting through the Montréal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport. This flight will also be offered as a domestic flight for those who simply wish to travel between the two Canadian cities.
The hour-long flight will take place aboard a Boeing 737-800.The departure flight is scheduled for early morning, while the return flight will be in late evening.
Travellers from Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean will thus be able to discover nine Caribbean and Central American destinations thanks to this new connecting flight:
Mexico: Cancun and Puerto Vallarta
Dominican Republic: Punta Cana
Cuba: Varadero
Costa Rica: Liberia
Colombia: San Andres
Panama: Rio Hato
Martinique: Fort-de-France
El Salvador: San Salvador
This connecting flight has been designed to simplify the lives of the travellers, both when departing and returning home. Passengers will only have to check in once and will not need to retrieve their luggage between the two flights, as it will be directly transferred to the next aircraft by the airport staff.
