Say “I do” under the palm trees with Transat’s wedding packages

Montreal, November 1, 2019 – Transat is pleased to present its selection of all-in-one wedding packages for tying the knot in a tropical setting. With 250 hotels in 22 South destinations hand-picked for their wedding-friendly facilities, as well as expert advisors to help find the ideal location, Transat is making it easier than ever for couples to find the perfect match for their needs and budget.

Choosing a destination wedding means opting for the simplicity and flexibility of holding the ceremony at any time of the year. It also means prolonging the celebration by spending an entire week with loved ones. Plus, planning the occasion is an enjoyable process, since a Transat specialist and hotel event coordinator are there every step of the way. In short, a destination wedding is a hassle-free option just waiting for the bride and groom to add their personal touch.

Weddings brochure: a source of inspiration

Transat’s new 2020-2021 Weddings brochure, created for the fourth year in a row in association with Weddingbells and Mariage Québec, is packed with info, pointers and ideas. Available at travel agencies and on Transat’s website, the brochure recommends hotels based on couples’ aspirations: intimate ambience, delectable dining, certified green, and kid‑approved. The legal requirements are laid out for each destination to help with the administrative aspect of a destination wedding. There’s even a countdown (available in downloadable version) for couples to use as a checklist while planning their big day. Finally, the selection of hotels listed in the brochure can also be used to inspire lovebirds planning their honeymoon or renewal of vows.

The Weddingbells insert, meanwhile, features a trio of themes presented as mood boards in Pinterest fashion. From décor to wedding dress, not to mention stationery, cocktails and cosmetics, this section will guide couples as they plan a wedding that feels right for them. They’ll even see wedding cake ideas and ways to get children involved before and during the ceremony.

Weddings at sea

Is there anything more romantic than tying the knot in the middle of the ocean? Cruise ships have a range of venues that rival some of the grandest reception halls on land.  And with Transat’s all-in-one cruise packages—which include roundtrip flight, transfers and the cruise—as well as free wedding planning services offered by cruise lines, it’s never been easier to say “I do” at sea.
