Montreal, March 11, 2014 — Transat A.T. Inc., one of the world’s largest international tour operators and Canada’s leader in holiday travel, is enhancing its offer of vacation packages in Haiti by introducing a brand new Port-au-Prince, Cap Haïtien and Cote des Arcadins package. This second package allows visitors to discover the Cap Haïtien area along with the country’s capital, Port-au-Prince, and the Cote des Arcadins. The latter two have been available since last year in a package named after them. Both packages are now on offer under the Transat Holidays brand as part of the new Experience Collection Haiti.
This brand new package includes two nights in Port-au-Prince, two nights in Cap Haïtien and three nights on the Cote des Arcadins. Visits on the agenda enable visitors to discover the Cap Haïtien area, as well as the capital and the Cote des Arcadins. Located in the north, Cap Haïtien, previously known as Cap Français, is the former capital of America’s French colonies and boasts a beautifully preserved historic centre with a unique charm. Visitors to the historic national park also get to explore the ruins of the Sans-Souci Palace and the Citadelle Henry fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Groups are accompanied by a local guide and the package includes many of the meals.
Next departures from Montreal are scheduled for Wednesdays, March 19 and April 16, 2014.
